Become a Trustee

Thanks for expressing an interest in the Trustee positions available at St. Anne’s Community Services.

Welcome

St Anne’s Trustees play a vital role in shaping the future of the organisation. By generously volunteering their time, they provide strategic leadership and work in close partnership with our Executive Leadership Team – offering the right balance of challenge and support.

Bringing their skills and expertise to the Board, Trustees help us make informed decisions that truly put the people we support at the heart of everything we do.

We’re excited to share that we’ve just launched our new Strategy, setting out our vision and priorities through to 2031.

This strategy defines what we aim to achieve over the next five years and provides a clear roadmap for how we’ll get there. At its heart are three pillars, each focused on driving excellence and ensuring we deliver the very best for the people we support, the places we operate, the quality we deliver. Together, these pillars guide us as we strive for greatness in everything we do.

With passion, initiative and unique personal qualities, our Trustees help bring our strategy to life. Spreading the word, inspiring meaningful action and supporting an incredible workforce to help us overcome a range of challenges. You’ll have the wisdom and curiosity needed to engage and inform debates and strategy, using your lived and professional experience to help us deliver our strategy and realise our ambitions.

We’re looking for individuals passionate about helping us deliver high quality care and support. Trustees play a key role in ensuring strong governance, legal and regulatory compliance, and approving business plans. You’ll need a willingness to learn, engage with detailed reports, use technology confidently, and ideally have experience or interest in co-production within the third sector or housing.

We welcome applications from people with diverse backgrounds, particularly those with expertise in adult social care, social housing development and asset management, housing compliance/governance, or IT. Lived experience of our services is highly valued.

At St Anne’s, inclusion is central to our culture. We believe diversity strengthens decision-making and drives innovation. To better reflect our customers, we’re especially keen to hear from women, global majority applicants, disabled people, and LGBTQ+ individuals.

New Trustees receive a full induction and ongoing development. If this is your first Trustee role, we’ll support you every step of the way. Above all, we’re looking for passion, fresh thinking, and a desire to make a difference.

If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
